I'm originally a self taught but now qualified ICT Systems Engineer. I've been involved with computers since I was 5 years old & it all started off with a little Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
Over the years I've had alot of experience with home PC's from X/T's, right up to the modern multi-core systems of today. I've also had alot of experience with network servers and networking in general.
When I was 15 years old I was sent on work experience by my school to a computer firm in called LETSS (London Educational Technology Support Service). They were responsible for repairing, supplying & upgrading computers for various schools throughout SE London.
Seven years ago I started to move into web design, but I'm purely self taught and have no official qualifiactions in this field at the moment. That hasn't stopped me building a modest portfolio of websites that I've designed, or have consulted on for friends and some small companies.
I have collected lots of different computers over the years, and as a result, I have a small collection of machines including vintage X/T & A/T PC's, Sinclair ZX Spectrum's, Sun Web Servers and two Hewlett Packard network servers.
